The Everest High Route trek takes you to the Khumbu Valley. It is a trekking in by 12 stages that allow you to know the Sagarmatha National Park, going through the different types of natur. At the same time the trekking is accompanied by views of the great Himalayan mountain range, with views over  4 of the 6 highest peaks in the world; Mt. Everest (8,848), Lhotse (8,516), Makalu (8,470) and Cho-Oyu (8,201).

DAY 1

Travel to Kathmandu airport (Nepal).

From the airport we travel by private vehicle to Katmadú-Thamel. (30 min). Accommodation, presentation
of the activity, itineraries, review of material and doubts.
Congratulations you are already in nepal.

DAY 2

Free day in the city of Kathmandu

Free day in the city of Kathmandu, for the first contact with the Nepalese culture and buy material that is needed in case it is needed.

DAY 3

Stage 1: Lukla – Monjo
  • Elevation: +550 / -550
  • Estimated time: 5-7 h

Travel by plane from Kathmandu to Lukla (30-40 min flight)

DAY 4

Stage 2: Monjo – Namche Bazar
  • Elevation: +750 / -150
  • Estimated time: 3-4 h

DAY 5

Stage 3: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazar
  • Elevation: +500 / -500
  • Estimated time: 4-5 h

DAY 6

Stage 4: Namche – Tengboche
  • Elevation: +850 / -450
  • Estimated time: 6-7 h

DAY 7

Stage 5: Tengboche – Dingboche (if the timming allows it)

  • Estimated time: 3-4 h

DAY 8

Stage 6: Acclimatization day in Dingboche

Possibility of going up to Chukkung Ri (5.546 m), “hard activity” 8h +1100/-1100 or go around Dingboche
You can acclimatize doing yoga.

DAY 9

Stage 7: Dingboche – Dzonglha

Travel by plane from Kathmandu to Lukla (30-40 min flight)

DAY 10

Stage 8: Dzonglha – Dragnag
  • Elevation: +800 / -950
  • Estimated time: 7-8 h

The highest point on the route, Chola Pass (5.420m)

DAY 11

Stage 9: Dragnag – Gokyo
  • Elevation gain: +250 / -150
  • Estimated time: 7-8 h

Possible and optional ascent to Gokyo Ri (5375m), +650 / -650.

DAY 12

Stage 10: Gokyo – Lungden
  • Elevation: +700 / -1150
  • Estimated time: 7-8 h

DAY 13

Stage 11: Lungden – Namche
  • Elevation: +400 / -1300
  • Estimated time: 7-8 h

DAY 14

Stage 12: Namche – Lukla
  • Elevation: +550 / -1300

Return flight Lukla – Kathmandu, day off

Private transfer to the airport to take the international flight to the city of origin.
